Every respectable mountain town needs a micro-brewery and Incline Village, NV is no exception. With its first location opening in 2014, Alibi Ale Works quickly became an Incline institution. Don’t let the hoard of flannel and beanie clad locals scare you off though, Alibi boasts one of the most friendly and welcoming atmospheres around.
With its authentic small-town ambiance, Alibi is a must see for anyone visiting Tahoe’s North Shore. This modern brewhouse features signature mountain industrial décor and is family and pet-friendly. Locals flock to Alibi for brews, music, and an all-around good time. The main taproom is known for is lively, convivial feel where patrons play retro board and video games while sipping on their favorite beer. If you’re looking for a more laid-back vibe, the adjacent lounge, which features a huge sectional, is your best bet.
Alibi’s crafted beers and ciders are made in-house, and new creations roll out monthly. Crafty creations range from light and citrusy summer brews to rich chocolatey winter stouts, a trusty favorite. Thanks to its local success, Alibi has begun distributing beer to other local vendors, but most enthusiasts maintain the taprooms are the best place to grab a cold one.
A few months ago, Alibi bought a massive building on Tahoe Boulevard, and construction is now underway to create a beer hall and restaurant. Although it may be a while before this new location opens its doors, their Truckee and Incline taprooms will more than satisfy your craft beer cravings. Be sure to stop by along your travels!
