July Fourth is the time to celebrate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. This federal holiday is the day in 1776 when the 13 American colonies cut their political connections to Great Britain. The Declaration summarized the colonists’ motivations for seeking independence. People celebrate July 4th by wearing flag themed attire, gathering to watch fireworks, and even attending parades like the local Incline Village parade.
Red, White, and Tahoe Blue Parade
Since 2007, Incline Village, Nevada has been hosting a full weekend dedicated to celebrating our country’s independence. Red, White, and Tahoe Blue is an entire weekend full of fun events! These events include a parade, Beer and Brats event, Pancake Breakfast, Rubber Duck Race, and much more! Local charities and merchants help every year to promote community spirit. This year’s parade consisted of the Air National Guard Band of the West, members and merchants of the community, and local business stands lining the streets offering fun and interactive activities. Incline Village’s Red, White, and Tahoe Blue celebration has been rated one of the 10 best in the nation! The town almost triples in size with families and friends coming to enjoy the fun. Oliver Luxury Real Estate was able to join in on the fun festivities by hosting their very own stand!
Agents and employees from the OLRE Incline Village office arrived bright and early to help set up a tent and table, offering free hats, mugs, brochures, and more. By the end of the event, they were completely out of hats and mugs! It was such a success and everyone had so much fun being able to interact with the community and watch the parade.
